Here at the Interiors to Inspire studio we love a challenge :) We're not big fans of chemical strippers and we like to avoid hours upon hours of sanding off old finishes whenever we can. In the video I’m creating a finish with Chalk Paint based off of a raw wood sample finish we had done for a previous project. The client had a pine bedroom suite she wanted refinished. Since the furniture had several layers of an unknown verathane we discussed a finish that would have a very similar feeling to it, using colors that mimic the inspiration sample but knowing the wood grain would not be a focus at all.
