Pattern Painted Paper

 Here's some fun ideas when it comes making Pattern Painted Paper (Now try saying that three times fast, ha ha). Scroll down the page to watch a How To video that will show you the steps I took to create these fun & festive papers.Can you tell I had wrapping Christmas gifts in mind when I was making these lovely papers?  You can choose whatever colours, stencils, patterns that you like, for any occasion! I think this technique would make beautiful papers for decoupage on furniture or covering old books, even as art/home decor. I hope this video gets your creative juices flowing!  In this video I used Old White Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan for the deer and snowflake paper. Here's a peek at how my stamped paper turned out. I'm loving the rustic texture and two tone green, what do you think? I used Chalk Paint­™ by Annie Sloan in Amsterdam Green and Olive . My roller was loaded with both paint colours at the same time, can you see the green variation in the trees?
