Part of what we love is the transformation of something old to new again. As well as the creative process of course. Stained a dark brown with General Finishes Java Gel Stain. Painted with Old White Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan, Distressed and sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax. Added the diamond knobs for a touch of modern sparkle.Painted with Country Grey Chalk Paint™ solid, sealed with Annie Sloan White Wax. Added a little blue knob for that tiny pop of colour. Painted with Paris Grey Chalk Paint™ and sealed with Annie Sloan Black and Clear Wax.The top was left as is, the bottom was painted with Old White Chalk Paint™ and then Pearl Plaster by Artisan Enhancements was dry brushed over top.The frame was painted with a mix of Napoleonic Blue and Burgundy Chalk Paint™ to create a deep plum colour. Sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax .We used Artisan Enhancements Transfer Gel to decoupage these pattern papers on the drawers. The frame was painted with Graphite Chalk Paint™ and then glazes in greys and blacks were added to give it a blackened steel look. The drawers were covered in Wood Icing Textura Paste and a patterned roller was used along with metallic paint to create this modern metallic animal print look. Various washes of Chalk Paint™ were used to create this water-colour marble look. Wanna know more? Get the details here. Originally painted with Arles Chalk Paint™ and a different ceramic knob on each drawer. Then repainted using various Chalk Paint™ colours. To give a barnwood look on the drawers we used our favourite wood grain tool. And check out those glass pink knobs we added.This bedroom set was layers of various Chalk Paint™ colours, dry brushing and washes. Finishing off with a blue tinted Clear Wax.Here are a few more "after" photos of pieces we refinished, details below.Painted in Paris Grey Chalk Paint™ and a stencil was used to create this fun pattern. Colours are Cream, Barcelona Orange and Scandinavian Pink all Chalk Paint™ Sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax First we painted Primer Red Chalk Paint™ then Versailles a pale green over top. The edges were lightly distressed so the red paint shows through. Some floral stencil details were added in Primer Red. Sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax We painted this with a grey Chalk Paint™ and used a mix of Annie Sloan Waxes to seal and add more interest. You can read all about this set here.This blue green was created with various Chalk Paint™ colours using layers of watered down colour to create movement and visual interest. Sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax The top of this piece we stained using General Finishes Gel Stains in a couple of colours and the bottom is a custom mix of Chalk Paint™ colours and waxes.The frame was painted with Graphite Chalk Paint™ and then a silver metallic wax was used. Each drawer here features a different product from Artisan Enhancements. Plasters, Crackles, Silver Leaf, Image Transfer!As you can see the possibilities are endless!
